Day 15

Back in 2013, I wasn't able to attend the said gathering due to our team building.

But this time, I decided to attend the event by hook or by crook!

So..

Hello Wedding Expo!

source: http://www.themesnmotifs.com/

I wasn't able to attend the said event yesterday, so I dragged my friend with me.

It was really awkward to attend, especially I'm not really getting married.. Well, I haven't said YES..

At the registration, the girl asked me if I was with the groom.

I said no.

Distributors are asking me about the wedding date.

I still don't know when.

I just considered other events that might happen this year - birthdays, anniversaries, and whatever.

I enjoyed the exhibit, seriously. My eyes were satisfied with the awesome cake decorations, caterer's presentations, sample of invitations and photo booths, even the mobile bars and perfume souvenirs!

My eyes are fascinated by the wedding dresses. I love them all, actually. :)

My wedding is not yet sure, but I'm assured that I have all that I need in case that will happen.

I have the contacts of the distributors.

I have the list of things to be completed.

Most importantly, I have all those hand outs in which I can compare all the price range!

I just wish I was one of the winners of the diamond rings. LOL!

Thanks for the free magazine. I love the content!

Thanks for the free eco-bag.

Thanks for the tons of handouts and brochures!

Thanks for a great time, Themes & Motifs!

Kudos to all the organizers! ♥

DAY 14

I just did something crazy.

I sent a friend request to my office crush, a.k.a Drummer Boy.

He's not that cute, I admit that. But I have this awful attraction to drummer boys. I guess that's because of my frustration.. (You know it already. Haha!)

The good new is, HE ACCEPTED IT! ♥

Name drop? LOL! ♥

At least we're friends.. though it's just on my social media account.

I wish we'll be more than friends in real life. Haha!

BACK TO REALITY. ♥

Wedding expo started today. However, due to our girl talk, I wasn't able to attend the first day. *sigh* I should've seen The Company perform live, :(

Day 13

For those who knew me personally, you'll remember that I had an obsession with a guy. He was an elementary teacher at VanderPol Christian Academy. He was a member in our youth group. He serves the church through Sunday School Ministry. He was one of the very best friends that I've ever had, until things have changed.

What makes me happy is the fact that the great in between us is slowly collapsing. I would never want him to be my lover. I just need my greatest friend back.

But in case he's willing to be my partner for the rest of our lives, well then, I'll be allowing him. Hahahah!

He knows I was just joking.. but jokes are half meant. ♥

Day 12

Time for my #ThrowbackThursday, guys!

I would like to remind everyone that this is just for FUN.

Haha!

I once believed that happiness means finding a partner to spend the rest of your life with. I once believed that my prince charming will save me from my boring life.

But then, I was wrong.

However, I am thankful that I've met these wonderful people who have given me so much to remember.

They're just two of the best guys that I've met. :)

I want them to be happy.

And I know they are by this time.

Day 11

I've read this post yesterday, which reminds me of one thing that completes my day.

BOOKS!

I started buying a book last 2012, and my initial plan was to complete those that were written by Joshua Harris. I've read Boy Meets Girl when I was still in high school, but I can't buy a copy of my own since I find it expensive. (As a student, I don't have P400 to get the book.) LOL! I had the chance to buy it when I already had my first salary. *wink*

The current status of my bookshelf! It contains books and notebooks. Hehe! I hope I can add more books in the future. *Fingers crossed!*

Here's the list of my books as of March 5, 2014:

Author: Joshua Harris
- Boy Meets Girl
- I Kissed Dating Goodbye

Author: P.C Cast and Kristin Cast
- House of Night: Marked
- House of Night: Chosen
- House of Night: Untamed

Author: Jodi Picoult
- My Sister's Keeper

Author: Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins
- Nicolae
- Soul Harvest

Author: Susan Forward
- The Men Who Love Women and The Women Who Love Them

Author: Susanne Pari
- The Fortune Catcher

Author: Zig Ziglar
- You Can Reach The Top

My reviewer for Civil Service Examination and my Bible. I also have another book given my by friend. I forgot the title and the author, but it talks about A-Z qualities of a great girl friend. :)

Aside from these paperbacks, I also saved some eBooks! I used to search for a copy of the book online when I can't find it on booksales. Hehe! Some of these eBooks were shared by my officemates and friends. I have copies of the Hunger Games Trilogy, Twilight Series, and even the latest book written by Dan Brown, Inferno.

My DropBox folder that contains all the eBooks. All of them are also stored on my phone, and I read them from time to time. I also have a copy of my own stories. LOL!

Reading has been my hobby after my ex-boyfriend broke up with me. And I guess, having a book is better than having a boyfriend. Just go back to the article above, and add amazing comparisons about the two. :)

It's NOT For Everyone..

I’ve just read this article “7 Realities of Hooking Up That We Need to Get Over and Accept Already". Last evening, I’ve read another article entitled, “The Pros and Cons of A Friends with Benefits Relationships". If you continue browsing those sites, and ask Google about it, you can find lots of articles that talk about the same topic. Hook Up Culture.

I am so intrigued by the articles that I stumbled upon. No commitments. No strings attached. Just making out. Just sex. (Reminds me of somebody, eh? LOL!)

This lead me to searching topics about HOOK UP CULTURE. I found a video posted from Franklin & Marshall College. I know the study is done in the American schools, but the facts might be true in our country too. If you’re planning to listen to the video, please take note of the statistics stated by the speaker. It can help you in your adversaries. Haha!

I’ve been thinking about these casual relationships for the past years due to my obsession about 500 Days of Summer. Remember the story of Summer and Tom? If you’ve watched the movie, you’ll know that Summer don’t want the commitment. They don’t have a “label” on their relationship. But they’re going out and making out from time to time.

Honestly, I find it hard to talk about sex. First reason is I grew up to a family who don’t talk about it liberally. We shouldn’t talk about it ’cause they think we might try it. LOL! (That’s what I’ve been believing for years now.) Second, I grew up religiously serving the church, and these topics are kinda disgusting for me. However, I opened my mind to facts about hooking up, sex, and casual relationships. I’ve been reading some sort of articles about it, and I have to say that it’s not for everyone.

According to my researches, hook up relationships can be helpful to gain experience without risking your emotional commitment to anyone. You won’t get tired of the drama of boyfriend-girlfriend relationships. You have the chance to discover and experiment your knowledge about sex when you have a f*cking buddy. Others believe that it’s good to engage in a casual sex ’cause they’ll learn more about these hook ups. It gave them the courage to give into their desire and check their boundaries.

A bad relationship can also make someone crazy. (It happened to me, yah know.) Some guys are getting so possessive and some girls are getting insane on the pain of breaking up. Hooking up is the culture that dominated the campus ’cause students can focus on their studies without thinking about the distraction of broken hearts and jealousy.

For professionals, it can be their escape from their stressful work. Having a boyfriend can be a hassle, especially when you don’t have enough time to meet him due to your various responsibilities. You can focus on your work, and cal someone once you felt the urge and desire to get laid.

If you knew me personally, you’ll know the change of perspective that I had for the past few years. I had the change of lifestyle, and I admit I had a hook up relationship too. I find it very challenging and sort of entertaining. The rush. The excitement. 20s will always want the adventure that I had faced before. What made me engage in this? The benefit of flirting with my high school crush. The influence of getting tipsy. The curiosity of THAT feeling.

If you’re someone who’s like me – one who get attached to someone so easily -  don’t ever get a f*cking buddy unless he/she wants a serious commitment with you. You’ll definitely be screwed up, not only physically but also emotionally.

You might say you can manage this relationship. You can pursue one after reading my post and the links attached here. I don’t have the right to stop you, but I just hope you consider your conscience. Check out the pros and cons, and make sure you won’t be devastated about it.

Remember, hooking up isn’t just sex. Kissing, just kissing, is also considered.

I’ve been there, and I expected too much from him. I just don’t want any other lady to be devastated just because of someone who used you for one time.

If you’re like me who suffers from the regret of getting a hook up partner, forgive yourself. It isn’t just YOUR fault. For whatever forced you to do that, it’s all part of the past. Really interesting conversations can be started when you’re open to these kinds of relationships. You can talk with me.

Have I said so many things now? haha!

For the man I liked but never considered calling me back, I thank you.

It’s a nice experience, you know. I just don’t know if I would like to do it again.

Disrupting the hook up culture is up to you.

IT IS UP TO US.

We can stop it when we want.

Day 10

Long distant relationships aren't my thing. I find it hard to trust those partners who are away from me, especially when other girls are flirting around him.

mr. Glen Mark Relleve - my dearest boyfriend. :)

However, my boyfriend proved to me that distance shouldn't be an issue to our relationship. I know it's hard for him to wait for me in the province, while I'm here going out with someone else. His trust is extra-ordinary, as I promised him one thing that only the two of us have known.

Soo.. he made another great move to make me feel that I am really loved amidst the distance. I called him this morning, before I slept. We've talked about lots of things, as usual, including his plan to stay here by the end of the month.

In the middle of the conversation, he sang a song for me. He usually does this, but this is the first time that I recorded our conversation. And I'm so thankful that I did! ^_^

I might be so sleepy by this time, but I believe it's all worth it! Few minutes of talking to him makes me feel safe and loved. He might be miles away from me, his heart and love will always make me feel complete.

Day 9

I bought two new books!

Sorry, guys! I wasn't able to take a photo of the other book. Hehe! I'll just update it in my next post. I promise. :)

The frustrating thing is I can't find first and second books of this series. I should find the books Left Behind and Tribulation Force. Can someone out there help me find these? Thanks!

It's time for me to read inspirational novels. We never knew when the end times will come, and I believe I should start preparing myself for the second-coming of Christ.

I know, my life have been wasted for the past years, and I should come back to my right path. It's hard to work on these while you're all alone, but I'm glad I have my church-mates and Christian friends to support me on this process.

Never stop praying! Pursue your quiet time and devotion. Believe in God.

I almost got an accident while on my way to the office, but I believe God saved me 'cause of His purpose for my life. The incident made me feel sad and guilty. Who would have thought that God will save a disobedient lady like me?

Well, I hope my dear Christian fellows out there would give their words of encouragement. It will make my day! Thanks!

Day 8

It's Sunday! And it's time for our Sun-date!

I woke up at 12 noon and I saw a text message from my friend. She said that they moved into a new apartment, and it's just located a few blocks from my house. They wanted me to come there and have some girls bonding.

I told them I will come, but I will wait until the scorching heat of the sun subside. Haha!

Soooo.. we met at SM Sucat, since they can't give me the exact location of their house. From there, we went to Baclaran and bought some of their kitchen utensils. It's so fun to be with these two girls. They had a hard time in selecting the plates that will match with the color that they like. (And they ended up with three orange plates, FYI.)

We spent a few hours together, but it's a nice experience. I seldom see them 'cause we have different schedules. I was also afraid that I might be depressed again since we might talk about my ex, but our bonding made me realize that I don't have any bitter feelings for my ex. I'm sincerely happy that he's happy by now.

I can't wait to schedule another bonding moments with these girls. Well, don't forget to mention the only guy in the group. Haha!

Day 7

Hello March! Who would've thought that a month have passed already? I can only imagine myself having a date last Valentines Day, and now I have to prepare for the graduation rites! Haha! Times flies so fast that you don't have to waste any second that counts.

Cute overload! :)))

Before I slept, I had the chance to play with Baby Jihanna. It's so amazing to see her holding her milk bottle for the first time! Haha! She's indeed growing little by little everyday. She's not my child, but I'm so excited to see all the improvement and development that she's having. Hehe! I'm a proud aunt, ya' know. :)

More things to look forward on March:

- Tagaytay adventure (FOR REAL!)
- Cruise by the Bay on the end of the month (Fingers crossed)
