Weekend and 100 Happy Days Updates

I guess it will be considered a loss, but I wasn't ab;e to post my updates during weekends. My laptop is still broken, and I don't have any internet connection to work with. However, I still want to keep track of my daily activities and happy days!

DAY 49

After two weeks of less rest and less sleep, I was able to complete 8 hours of sleep! It's really refreshing, and I think all my lost energy revived in me. Haha! I was also given the chance to think of another plot for another story. I just wish I'll be able to finish one first before I proceed with another Filipino article.

DAY 50

Halfway there! It's not easy to track your happy days, but it's all worth it. I've been able to see what I was doing for the past 50 days. I never thought I was that busy. You know, I was thinking that I have this boring life and corny routine.

I watched the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. I was watching it seriously until the radio announcer mentioned that our Pinoy Pride won the fight. I still tried to finish the fight, but my eyelids dropped and I fell asleep. Hahah!

DAY 51

I watched Authors Anonymous while waiting for some work to be done. It's kinda a documentary, and I'm sure others will dump this movie. However, it talks about writers. I am a writer, so I loved the plot. I hope more writers will watch this movie and know something about the publishing world. :)

DAY 48

It's baby Jihanna's 7th month-day!

Jihanna and her pretty white dress during her baptism day. ♥

We have this "tradition" that we celebrate baby's birthdate every month. Hmm. I hope you could get the point. Haaha!

Anyway, I browsed my ex-bf's Facebook page just to download some of my photos. I got the copies of my photos when we visited Jed's Island in Bulacan.

Time for #FlashbackFriday!!!! :))

DAY 47

It's hard to start a blog. It's harder to start a novel!

I've been fighting my mental block as I start a new novel entitled Every Little Thing.

I'll be posting a chapter in a bit. I'm just finishing the scene. I hope you'll like it! :)

DAY 46

Wednesday is hump day! We're already in the middle of the week, and it feels like every thing slows down. As I type this post, I just watched two movies and almost halfway through my third one. Haha! I've just finished my task, and just waiting for the updates of the missing reports and comments.

April 9 is one of the most special dates in my life. Not only because it's a holiday, but because of one special person who used to be a part of my life. History is history, as they say, but this person will always be a part of me.

It took me four long years to realize that my affection for him remained the same whatever happened between us. He's such a nice man, and it's pretty hard to get over someone like him.

Thanks to my graduation party two years ago, I was able to know the real reason why he decided to stop the relationship. It was a non-sense reason, but I guess the main point is we're both too young to handle a complicated relationship that time.

It's nice to know that he's already happy with where he is right now. He still looks the same, but I knows he's a very different man right now.

People change, but memories don't. It depends on you if you want to use those memories to make you or break you. In my case, I allowed those memories to do both, and I'm so sure that I've learned a lot from it.

See? There's a rainbow after the rain. ;)

PS: I had some crazy reminiscence of the way I look before. See the difference? Huge difference it is, eh? :)

Stay Happy! :)

DAY 45

Nothing's gonna change how boring my routine life is. Haha! Thanks to movies, I was able to find an escape my sad life.

I just watched GBF (Gay Best Friend) directed by Darren Stein. It's a movie about teens and their social lives. Haha! Teens will love this movie. I promise!

#100HappyDays Weekend Updates

100 Happy Days - DAY 42

Let's start my weekend with the picture taking with my office mates. They called it "Project Paminta 2014" I dunno if it's the result of the boring shift, or it's just because they're in the mood to pose and take photos.

Me and Tristan. They thought I had headache while he suffers from pain in the neck. LOL!

what they call, "prosti shots"

I asked my friend if she can come with me at Baclaran Market. I bought two plates, 6 spoons, and 6 forks! Addition to my utensils, eh? Haha! At least we have reserved utensils in case some friends might visit my place.

I used the remaining hours of Saturday to sleep and take some rest. I've had a tiresome week, so I believed I well deserved a peaceful sleep.

100 Happy Days - DAY 43

It's a crazy Sunday! It was already late in the evening when my boyfriend decided to play some Word Search puzzle. I started laughing, as I think of some corny jokes in my head.

"Why are you laughing?" asked my BF.

"I have a joke, babe. Would you like to hear it?" I replied.

"Come on. Just make sure it's funny."

I glared at him. He smiled and told me to start my "joke".

"Knock-knock," I started.

"Who's there"

"Write"

"Write who?"

And I started singing, (the tune is derived from Lady Gaga's bad romance) "Wri-i-ite.. Write-wri-i-ite, Write-wri-i-ite.. WRITE your bad romance."

Then I laughed as hard as I can. Then I heard him laughing too!

"You're crazy, don't you know that?"

"I am crazy. You're crazier 'cause you've fallen in love with me."

And then, there's silence.

After a while, I started giggling again.

"What's the next word?" he asked, curious about the next knock-knock joke that I was about to spill.

"Knock-knock"

"Who's there?"

"Rush"

"Rush who?"

"I don't want to stay another minute..I don't want you to say a single word.. Rush Rush, Rush Rush.."
(Hush-Hush by the Pussycat Dolls)

This time, he laughed harder than I did. Haha! I was running out of breathe, and I need to control myself before I pass out. ;)

Then he asked, "Is that the effect of pineapple? Don't you dare eat that fruit again!"

"That's the effect of being threatened." I replied.

And then, there's silence.

He continued finding the words from the puzzle, while I find more air to breathe. I might be killed by my craziness, yah know. :)

With a smile on my face, I just fell asleep and I haven't noticed as to what time did he stopped doing the puzzles.

100 Happy Days - DAY 44

This is some sort of continuation about those corny knock-knock jokes, but it started while we're preparing our breakfast.

"I still have one knock-knock joke left," I told him.

"Oh nice. You're mind's pretty fast in thinking all the crazy stuff eh. Who's there?"

"Kuwago."
(For my foreign followers, it means OWL)

"Kuwago who?"

"Tell me when will you be mine.. tell me kuwago, kuwago, kuwago"

And he laughed.

Then, he told me to stop.

Haha!

I guess my point is, I miss being that crazy. When I was still with Luis, I have to please him all the time. I was like a robot, programmed to do whatever he wants me to do. Now, I am enjoying the freedom. I could be crazy. I could laugh out loud. I could be ME. Only me. And someone's out there to accept whatever my flaws are. He had me at my worst, but it feels like he's been helping me to be myself again.

Stay happy people!

DAY 40

Lack of sleep. Tiring work. Nothing special.

Time for a Throwback Thursday post! I grabbed these photos from Ate Arlene's Facebook profile. It's supposed to be a family outing, but they invited me there. ;)

I've been looking for tips on how to write a movie review. I hope I'll be able to use them properly, and end with a good review for my readers. I was challenged after reading their tips. I've been doing it really wrong! Grrr! Well, I'll work better next time.

DAY 39

I am now 21 years and 10 months old! ;) I'm really thankful that I was given the chance to live longer than I expected. I guess God has a long list of reasons why I shouldn't exist, but He's definitely giving me another chance to fulfill my duty and purpose in life.

Anyway, I've read lots of tweets about summer time - all the beach parties, swimming schedules, and cold drinks to enjoy. We've been planning trips and retreats to Baguio and Tagaytay - if only our salary would permit. Haha! My office-mate suggested a Bora trip, too! I think I drop by my "cousin's house" when we visit Aklan. Hmm. Am I ready to see him already? I dunno...

TCATR Water Baptism

Swimming with the Relleve family

I've been asking my friends if they want to go swimming, but I get no response. They might be very busy with the careers, so I have to postpone my plans. Haha! I hope May will come as fast as possible so that I can go back to the province and drag my family to the pool. Haha! I'm not fond of the beach, so I'll settle for the swimming pools. ;)

I watched Mr. Peabody and Sherman tonight! It's a nice movie, actually. I'm grateful that my cousin asked me to watch the movie. I love it!

Gonna catch up to my reviews later. I just have to finish few camps for auditing.

Thanks for reading fellas!

LONG WEEKEND and #100HappyDays Updates

It's been a looooong weekend for me. I've go one great stories for you guys, and I hope you'd spend some of your time in reading my updates.

Saturday

1. My brother's birthday
For a change, I asked my sister to buy a cake for my brother. He doesn't receive any special treatments on his birthday. I guess it's time for him to know that he's special for all of us. It's not a big party, but at least there's something to remind us that it's his birthday.

cake worth 495php. With lots and lots of candles. hahaha!

Sorry for the additional clutter. Haha! That's my brother while blowing his 14 candles. ♥

I don't really know what his initial reaction was, since they're still at the province. However, it's nice to know that he didn't hesitate in blowing his candles. He's now 14 years old! Time flies by so fast that we don't even notice that our little boy is slowly being a man now.

2. Visit to Marikina
It was a long and tiring travel. With the severe heat of the sun and the slow move of the not-so-cool aircon bus, we're trapped on the road for almost two hours. Spell torture? I didn't have the energy to visit the malls, as planned, since I slept already as soon as we arrived Kuya Aries' place.

Ate Arlyn bought some coffee cake. I was informed that it was Kuya Aries' advanced birthday celebration. Hehe! They also gave us spaghetti from Greenwich. (They're really spoiling me a bit, eh? They gave me two of my favorites!)

SUNDAY (#100HappyDays - DAY 36)

It was Jihanna's baptism day!

We picked up the cake at Joy San Gabriel's place around 10am. (That's the reason why were not able to attend the mass and the baptism ceremony itself.) We reach our place at 12noon already; just in time for the visitors to come home and eat.

Ms. Joy is so kind and accommodating. She even gave me 25php discount! I'll be featuring her and her cakes in a special review. I just need to get the photos from my bf's sister. ;)

Night time is fun time!

They're all drunk. Haha! It's fun to see them all tipsy; they're talking about anything and everything under the sun. We, the girls, talk about our girl stuff.. while the boys talk about their work, fraternity, and 300. Yes, that was the movie. Haha!

What I love in this drinking session is the white sparkling juice given by my cousin's friend. That's the best drinking finale that I've ever had. Haha! They saved the best drink for last round. :)

Kuya Jerome's friends made fun of the "relationship" thingy between Glen and me, and with Ronel and Julie. Glen and Julie are siblings, as in brothers and sisters. And Ronel and I are cousins. Haha! I don't really know what's bothering them. They seemed pretty amazed with the situation. :)

Drunk people never fail to show dramatic scenes, did they? I won't give you the details. But as I've known before, words from drunk people are actually the words that their hearts want to say. I guess I have to believe that.

MONDAY (#100HappyDays - Day 37)

REST DAY!

I still had the chance to savor the carrot cake from Ms. Joy, as well as their brownies. I decided to call it brownies, though I'm not really sure it's supposed to be called that way. Haha!

Due to hang-over and sleepy eyes, I decided not to come to work that night. I'm not sure I'd be able to reach Makati with my headache. Another salary deduction, but health is my priority. (Chos!)

TUESDAY (#100HappyDays - Day 38)

Picture taking!

While we're waiting for our brunch, I took this photo. He's watching TV, and he just knew I took a picture after I showed it to him. Sadly, I wasn't able to upload all my selfies. I didn't expect Julie will leave soon. :(

I just hope she'll be able to upload the photos as soon as possible. Wish me luck! :p

So.. that's all for today! :)

How are you? ;)
